Christmas Snow

There had never been a measurable snowfall recorded in my hometown for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, or the day after Christmas...until yesterday! Hunter loved playing in the snow, throwing snow balls, and making a Mr. Potato Head snowman!

Merry Christmas

My family celebrated Christmas together last Saturday. We always get together before Christmas since my sisters are married and have to spend Christmas with other family members. Hunter received several gifts...a LeapFrog ClickStart My First Computer, a remote control car, a fire station set, clothes, and money! He surprised me last Wednesday with a few handmade Christmas gifts that he made at daycare. Those are the best gifts to receive, and I will cherish them forever! Hunter left Santa some cookies and milk under the Christmas tree last night. He awoke to find that Santa had enjoyed the snack, and left him a Suzuki 4 wheeler, a play tent, and a pair of boots! Hunter has enjoyed playing with all of his gifts, and I am so thankful to be able to provide him with much happiness. Hunter and I are truly blessed, and we will always remember the true meaning of Christmas...Happy Birthday Jesus!

You Are My Sunshine

I used to sing this song to Hunter when he was a baby, so my heart melted when he sang it to me today!

Bathtub Fun

Hunter has always liked to take a bath, but now, he loves to! As a birthday gift, he received Crayola Color Bath Dropz and Body Wash Paint. He has such a fun time using colored water and painting his body! He even smells like bubble gum, a raspberry, or a lemon when he gets out of the tub!

Happy Birthday Hunter

Hunter turned 3 years old on Saturday! He celebrated on Friday with a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse birthday party at daycare. Hunter and his friends ate cupcakes and got a tattoo. Everyone also took home a balloon and goodie bag! On Saturday, Hunter and Layla went to Monkey Joes. They even saw Monkey Joe there dressed up like Santa! Afterwards, we went out to eat lunch with Nannie and Aunt Heather. That evening, we went to see the "Holiday Lights on the River" at Saluda Shoals Park, which is the midlands largest drive through lights show. Hunter and Layla loved being able to be out of their car seats and look out the window at all of the beautiful lights. Hunter and Layla then enjoyed pizza and cake while playing way past their bedtime! Not only did Hunter have a great weekend with family and friends, but he got lots of presents too! Happy Birthday Hunter!

Daycare Christmas Program

Hunter's daycare held their annual Christmas program last Thursday evening. The theme was "Twas The Night Before Christmas" and everyone dressed in their pajamas. Hunter was assigned to be a toy, so he chose to be a basketball. Santa was even in the play! Hunter loved walking in, sitting with, and walking out with his favorite teacher, Miss Ashley. Afterwards, we enjoyed refreshments together. Hunter did such a great job, and I was so proud of him!
